Global Equipment Material Handlers Inc. (GEMHI) successfully conducted the Demonstrated Performance Service Training – Train the Trainer program last January 6 to 24, 2025. The training was facilitated by Daniel Bajlo, Service Trainer and Product Support Manager of Crown Lift Trucks Philippines Corporation, in support of GEMHI’s commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence.
The program focused on enhancing the technical knowledge and practical skills of participants in the areas of:
The training program focused on enhancing the technical knowledge and practical skills of forklift technicians in areas such as safety and elimination of hazardous energy, Crown360 navigation, troubleshooting and wire tracing, proper planned maintenance procedures, calibration and programming, and other related technical competencies required for effective service operations.
Participants engaged in hands-on practical exercises, technical discussions, and collaborative learning sessions designed to strengthen their competencies in equipment operations and servicing.
Through initiatives like this, GEMHI continues to develop highly skilled personnel while promoting workplace safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the organization.
The said program is a specialized training initiative for the Technical Support Department aimed at equipping personnel with the knowledge and skills required to conduct internal training for Service, Parts, and Warehouse personnel.

SUMITOMO ICE Counterbalance Forklift Training Successfully Conducted
Last August 27, 2025, a successful SUMITOMO ICE Counterbalance Forklift Training was conducted under the expert guidance of our trainer, Siyoshio Tsuchiuchi. This training was designed to further enhance the knowledge, safety awareness, and operational skills of the participants in proper forklift handling and operation.
This training focused on:
- SN TRD navigation for ICE counterbalance forklifts
- Fundamentals of Internal Combustion Engine, including engine components and functions
- Engine inspection and critical parts checking, inspection and adjustment
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Planned maintenance procedures to ensure forklifts are in optimal working condition
- Basics of hydraulic and transmission systems for proper operation and upkeep
Participants were given both theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations to ensure safe and efficient forklift operation in the workplace.
Through Trainer Siyoshio Tsuchiuchi’s guidance and this comprehensive training, operators are now better equipped to perform their tasks responsibly while maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.
